Draft Results - CGL10
Season X of the Closed Gym League kicked off January 4th with yet another exciting and unpredictable draft. Draft order was selected through a lottery where each player was given a certain percentage of "ping pong balls" based on their Power Ranking (points+rebounds+assists).
Andy Duncan ended up with the #1 overall pick, which he used to select perennial standout Josh Metzger out of Denmark via Wisconsin Lutheran College. Mike Masino and Lewis Jiles made their choices at #2 and #3 selecting Eric Melka and Craig Machut respectively.
Scott Meerstein and Matt Becker came in next to round out the top 5. It seemed as though everyone walked away from the draft room relatively pleased with their squads, but you never know until the teams hit the court. And that's why they play the games...
