Draft Results - CGL13
Season 13 of the Closed Gym League kicked off January 6th with yet another exciting and unpredictable draft. Draft order was selected through a lottery where each player was given a certain percentage of "ping pong balls" based on their Power Ranking (points+rebounds+assists).
After names were selected GMs then chose what position they wanted to start their draft from. Eric Melka ended up with the #1 overall pick, which he used to select Quincey Moman out of UW-Parkside. Royce Malkowski and Pat Duffy made their choices at #2 and #3 selecting Ron Bell and Jeremy McGlothlin respectively.
Brad Hintz and BJ LaRue came in next to round out the top 5. It seemed as though everyone walked away from the draft room relatively pleased with their squads, but you never know until the teams hit the court. And that's why they play the games...
