Draft Results - CGL14
Season 14 of the Closed Gym League kicked off May 6th with yet another exciting and unpredictable draft. Draft order was selected through a lottery where each player was given a certain percentage of "ping pong balls" based on their Power Ranking (points+rebounds+assists).
After names were selected GMs then chose what position they wanted to start their draft from. Matt Becker ended up with the #1 overall pick, which he used to select Tom Becker Delevan/Darian. Scott Landisch and Jeremy McGlothlin made their choices at #2 and #3 selecting Chris Braier and Eric Melka respectively.
Damond Smith and Marlon Grice came in next to round out the top 5. It seemed as though everyone walked away from the draft room relatively pleased with their squads, but you never know until the teams hit the court. And that's why they play the games...
