Draft Results - CGL21
Season 21 of the Closed Gym League kicked off September 12th with yet another exciting and unpredictable draft. Draft order was selected through a lottery where each player was given a certain percentage of "ping pong balls" based on their Power Ranking (points+rebounds+assists).
After names were selected GMs then chose what position they wanted to start their draft from. Nick Fischer ended up with the #1 overall pick, which he used to select Kon Knueppel out of Faith Lutheran, FDL. Matt Luzar and Eric Knobloch made their choices at #2 and #3 selecting Josh Metzger and Steve Kohl respectively.
Quincey Moman and Ryan Kroeger came in next to round out the top 5. It seemed as though everyone walked away from the draft room relatively pleased with their squads, but you never know until the teams hit the court. And that's why they play the games...
