Draft Results - CGL25
Season 25 of the Closed Gym League kicked off January 4th with yet another exciting and unpredictable draft. Draft order was selected through a lottery where each player was given a certain percentage of "ping pong balls" based on their Power Ranking (points+rebounds+assists).
After names were selected GMs then chose what position they wanted to start their draft from. Gunnar Stapp ended up with the #1 overall pick, which he used to select Kon Knueppel out of Ravenswood subdivision. Brian Fifarek and Andy Duncan made their choices at #2 and #3 selecting Josh Metzger and Scott Murphy respectively.
Brad Starken and Deion James came in next to round out the top 5. It seemed as though everyone walked away from the draft room relatively pleased with their squads, but you never know until the teams hit the court. And that's why they play the games...
